An eco-friendly hotel, built to last
Our 4-star hotel was built using bio-based and locally sourced materials: hempcrete from the Vendée region for the walls, wood from sustainably managed forests for the framework, and insulation made from flax, hemp, and recycled cellulose wadding. Even the carpets in the rooms are made from recycled fishing nets.
Clean and Controlled Energy
We have committed to energy self-sufficiency, with 98% of our energy production being low-carbon and 70% coming from renewable sources:
– 200 photovoltaic solar panels to power the estate
– 38 solar thermal panels covering up to 90% of the hotel’s hot water needs in the summer
– Two wood-fired boilers to heat the hotel, the spa, and the common areas
Sustainable agricultural practices
Our 12-hectare estate is a true living ecosystem, where we farm according to the principles of permaculture:
– 3,500 m² of vegetable gardens covering up to 76% of our restaurant’s vegetable needs
– 1.7 ha of vineyards managed using agroforestry methods and tended by hand, with bottles that are returnable and reused on-site
– A production of aromatic and medicinal plants, harvested and dried to create our own herbal teas
– An educational farm, where our animals help maintain the soil and regenerate the land
A Zero-Waste and Sustainable Lifestyle
Sorting and composting organic waste, which is then reused to enrich our crops
Eliminating plastic bottles and replacing them with water fountains and glass containers
Cleaning rooms withozonated water, an eco-friendly process that uses no chemicals
Extra linens upon request, to minimize the impact of laundry

We go beyond simply reducing our environmental impact by actively contributing to the regeneration of ecosystems:
